Why? I don't know anything about them this year. I know Russell did not have a good game last Russell visted Maysville. Although it was a win.

Mason was not impressive against Harrison a couple weeks ago. I've not seen Russell...but IMO, a "normal" Russell team would wear them out. Just not sure what Russell is bringing to the party.
Regardless......I can't see Mason competing with Central, Sheldon Clark, Belfry or Breathitt.

Although it was a win.Why because they beat a really down Danville team that everyone thought was going to be good at the start of the year. They barely beat a Rowan County team that almost lost to Greenup. Another thing they have played no one the caliber of a Ashland or Ironton.
While Russell didn't have a good game last time it was still only a 2 td game at 20-7 in favor of Mason and imo this Russell team is alittle better than last years.

Russell will play their best game this Friday ,that's:ChairHit: expected & that's what will be delivered & that's what makes me believe they will WIN. By the way anyone hearing the noise the Blue Birds are making this year? Russell wins in a close one 14-13

Undoubtedly Mason Co. has a solid streak going but that will be tested.

I don't think I would trash talk a team that beat you 37-0.hh:

As far as being over rated I don't think Mason County is. I do think Central is by far the best team in 3A though and they would get my vote for #1 followed by Mason, Belfry, Somerset, Sheldon Clark and Russell in that order.

Russell will be Masonâs biggest test yet. I think this will be a hard fought game that Mason wins in the end.
I also think Belfry would beat either Russell or Mason Co. at this point. But, time will tell.

I would guess Cooper would start again for Russell. He gives them more speed at the QB position than anyone else but he needs to make sure he holds onto the ball.
That is Neal Pawsat for Mason County and he is very good.
