I don't care to tell you where I caught the monster. If you know where the old boyscout camp is just down below it where there was an old slate dump or something. There used to be some sort of structure there (I thought at the time an old sunken boat) in about 12-15 foot of water. The fish was taken off of this structure. Have you ever caught any crappie at Fish Pond? I caught several nice ones back in the nineties at this site on minnows. I have tried other sites, but have not been able to find them with the exception of a small one taken near the dam site.

Correct.. I failed to mention my papaw on his boat caught 1 fish out of all the trips but it was a 4.5 lbs...at that site...i think so anyway...there is a sunken building there now...I caught crappie there last year just ashamed to tell the size..lol

my biggest largemouth came from paintsville lake.
smallmouth from new river,bell springs va. 21 inch.

not sure of the weight.

My youngest son caught a 15 in. largemouth bass last spring at Lake Shelby in Shelbyville. He caught with a night crawler on a bobber. He was 5 at the time.
