I highlighted the Sophomores and Jr's......BUT Of course Thomas and Chase have made their abilities known rather WELL without being said!!!! Smile :Cheerlead

I agree with the choices you have for the sophomores and Jrs..... GREAT talent in the future for BHS... Keep it up...

Did I miss something on here? Why would you think the Crowder's were going anywhere?

Definately a lot of talented skill guys coming back for Belfry next season.

Do Pirate fans expect the Frosh QB to start next year as a Soph?

The crazy thing is the above posted lists of talented backs doesn't even include Timmy Lovern (who is a pretty good ball carrier in his own right)
#38
thats fairs well then for belfry if someone 4gets about him, alot of good backs coming up..
#39
I don't understand your post man.

Not being rude, I just can't make it out. In my previous post I didn't mean to come off as suggestion Lovern should carry the ball. Just saying he COULD (and well) if asked. Just to show how CRAZY talented Belfry's skill guys will be next year.

If all of those guys on the list, Lovern, Shane Blackburn & Morgan Bently just decide they are gonna be animals in the offseason and go nuts with speed/strength training, the sky is the limit!
#40
how can you not understand it, i was saying thats a good thing if someone 4got about lovern, and then i said alot of good running backs coming up for the pirates, there is no shortage for the next 6-7 yrs
#41
Sorry man.

I just looked it back over. My apologies. I got confused on the the "Thats"

No disrespect meant. I agree there is awesome talent! Good time to be a Pirate fan.

GO PIRATES

Your correct... T"LOVE" (as Lovern is affectionally called by his fellow teammates)will be one of the ones noted to handle the ball quite often next year if called upon. Belfry will have a surplus of talent and will use it accordingly!!

As for the QB position??? That will be a decision that only the coaches would know!!!

I agree, I don't see anyone being any better in the mountains.
I've seen alot of running backs and he is by far the best I have ever seen. Good luck Fugate, you have a bright future ahead of you!!

C.Clair Wrote:Cody Prichard is a sophmore at Breathitt that is Channings counter part. He is quick and compact and can hit the whole with some great speed. He has almost 100 0 yards this year.

Cody is a good fast little back but he really benifits by using the element of suprise when teams are keying on Channing.I'd like to see how he does in a one back set.May be something to ponder.

Is this the JV back over there? If so, He looked to be a little grinder when you guys played our, (Powell) JV. His name ought to be changed to Harley...LOL. Is he #25? I liked his style. He reminds me of our upcoming So. D. Taulbee. Good hard nosed runner that likes to run downhill.

The Green kid from Harlan was a good player on offense and defense, and I don't think he got enough carries the other night.

Yes, he's #25. He's a very hard runner and loves to make contact. If they can get his bucket step smoothed out he will be even better.
#53
Yeah i look forward to seeing more of him.
#54
Nehemiah Doderer of Paintsville will suprise a lot of people in his senior year
#55
There going to be so many good backs over the next several years at Belfry they may have to use them in other postions.
#56
i believe jesse rose from powell will be a very good running back next year, he will be a junior and hes only about 50 yards short of 2000 in his carrer, hes a great running back
