15th Region Tournament: Paintsville vs. Belfry
#31
Tigers are on a mission to Rupp, but I think the Pirates will put up a harder fight than expected. Still, I say Paintsville sinks the Pirates ship with superior firepower by atleast 10 cannonballs.

Paintsville should have beaten Belfry last year, but they didn't play well and blew it. This is not the same Tiger team and it is not the same Belfry team! Hope for an upset if you want, but it's not going to happen this year!

Same could be said for the almighty "wildcats"!

Perhaps Belfry has Paintsville number for a second year in a row...... NAH!! I will say Paintsville by 15-20.

hahaha...belfry was a much better team than paintsville was last year and they proved it. But as for this year, paintsville is probably the most dominant team in the region. I take paintsville by at least 20+ unless belfry can hold slone to under 15.

They get beat last year, handedly, and you say they should've won by 30????

Does that even qualify you to talk basketball?

Paintsville is and should be the favorite but if Belfry wins I am pulling this ridiculous post up at every opportune moment.

By the way, this just made me a Belfry/Shelby Valley fan.

I look for the Tigers to jump that hurdle this year and get that first Regional win. Good Luck Tigers.

Paintsville by 20+

TIGERS BY 20+

Paintsville by 15+

It will take more than one player to beat Paintsville. May would have to score every trip up the floor. That's probably one of the dumbest things you have ever said on here.

All that was proved in that game last year was how bad Paintsville was when they weren't hittin, and they were NOT hittin AT ALL. Not to mention the foul trouble they got in and no depth on the bench, which could be a nightmare if they get into foul trouble again this year.

Well, the poll results on this thread are a little more what I would expect. It's currently Paintsville ahead, 53-3.
(I expected similar results on the SV/P-Burg thread, but the votes are a little closer there.)

Anyway, I predict Paintsville by 23.

Paintsville by 18...it'll take the Tigers about a half to get their shot adjusted to the big Expo or it would be worse IMO.

I still think they can beat any team in the 15th even when they are not hitting this year. With of course the exception of SV. I think if they don't shoot good in the Valley game they may be in trouble, but everyone else in the region is not even close to being on the same level as these two schools.
#54
paintsville by 15 or more.

I'll agree with that. Paintsville and Shelby Valley are on a totally different level than everyone else.

PAINTSVILLE by 30.

foul trouble? I don't remember them getting in foul trouble. But I do remember Belfry's top player fouling out and Belfry still won. Belfry should be able to hang with Paintsville. All they have to do is slow Slone down, and just let the rest of the players have their averages. I still think Paintsville will win though..

Your definetly underestimating the Tigers this season. They won't be able to "hang" at all with P-ville. By halftime Belfry should be folding up camp.

Being a SC fan I have seen Paintsville play several times this year and Belfy a couple times, this game will be over long before halftime, Belfry is in way over their head, they know just won't admitt it

 They won't have to admit it! They can just see it for themselves when the two teams start the game!
