Shelby Valley vs. Betsy Layne

I think it will be a close game i think the bobcats will give valley a great game with slone and newman back but will fall short because of valleys pressure up front and the fact that betsy layne has a pretty young team that they prob will get nervous under the pressure and get scared and throw the ball all over the court no disrespect i like betsy and there players and would love to see them win but i say valley by 5

Well, amongst the schools fan sections Im torn, lol, but Im gonna say Valley snaps out of a slight funk and rips the Bobcats 81-58..good luck to both teams..

Shelby Valley is not playing its best lately. However they will beat Betsy Layne by 15+. If they do face Paintsville in the All A they better bring their A game.

I can't believe that people are actually predicting SV to lose to Betsy Layne. They have been playing badly but still winning easily.

BL is excited right now because they got 3 players back this past week. I agree with you though, SV will still win this game easily. Just my opinion.

If you're expecting the Betsy Layne faithful/students/players to get on here and predict BL to get beat by Shelby Valley then your wrong. Any true fan of any team will or should support their team and have faith in em, no matter what the odds of them winning are JMO.

Valley by 15-20. Hopefully they get to rest their starters some, they will need them if they have to face Pikeville and Paintsville on back-to-back nights.

First of all lets STOP disrespecting the NEWMAN kid...did you not watch him play at all last year? I am so tired of hearing the bad stuff about this boy, lets talk of all the good games he had last year....even the announcers on t.v. said "once that boy gets the ball down low, he can't be stopped",...he has come a long way and done well in the process. No he may not have been great, but for a kid that hadn't played on a basketball team in 5 or 6 years, well I think, along with a lot of other folks, the kid done a wonderful job....not matter what you want to admit, BL improved a whole a lot after NEWMAN's knee injury healed and he return back to the team last year.....this disrespect about this young man all goes back to JEALOUSY.......

Championship games are on February 3. I'd say the tourney starts on 1/31.

I see Valley winning by around 15-20 because they will pull the starters to rest of for the next game. Valley is 25-30 points better regardless but isn't playing like they was at the first of the year. I say Valley 79-62.

SV may win this game, but it possible that this game could be a major UPSET for the wildcats. Even if BL loses I still believe that this will be an interesting game to watch considering the 3 players that has returned for the bobcats...GO BOBCATS!!!!:ChairHit:
