Paintsville-73 Lawrence Co.-63

timtherebel23 Wrote:LC is the dirtiest team you've ever seen play? Apparently you haven't watched many Paintsville games because they top anyone I've ever seen by far. We played them both and Paintsville was awful. Murray took a run and go and pushed one of our guys in the back and Bundy elbowed one intentionally in the mouth while in a pile up for the ball. Pretty dirty if you ask me?
Wow!!! In another thread you was talking about how classy Bundy was, and how he was the only one from Paintsville that didn't go the trash talk route and play dirty.

Which is it?

OK....let me be the first to say that Paintsville does indeed play as "dirty" as any other team out there.
Although I hate using the term "dirty" I guess it's the choice term you all want.
The Tigers will push, shove, hold, trash talk, and yes throw an elbow as much or maybe more than anyone.
But at least they pick there spots, and don't get caught as much as the other teams.
I guess, I am saying that they are just better at it!!! LOL
But let me also say that if you think that the games are bad....you should see the practices! LMAO!
I know for a fact that if an underclassman would steal the ball, block a shot or school one of the starters, the next trip down the floor would most likely bring a nice elbow for getting shown up even once!!!
IMO, not a dang thing wrong with it! If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen, but please don't whine.
And surely don't suggest that Sammy would do Paintsville and especialy BMR any favors....That would be hillarius!

Seems to be working nicely this year. Smile Very differnent from Valley's style of play. Don't get me wrong, Valley has a physical style as well but they beat you with quickness, not pure strength.

The Tigers use quickness as a weapon too! They don't just rely on physical play.
