Biggest is Spur from Boyd. Rumors all season he is headed to the 10th region and that Ashland is loading up again.

This was the first name that come to mind. I’d almost bet my pay check he is at Breathitt next season.

I'd bet the same... even though he lives in Wolfe Co, he will be taking his talents somewhere besides Lee co next year.

The word is that Carter from APB will be playing his 8th year at Montgomery. JM will teach you how to circumvent the khsaa.

@HOOPFAN when I first read this I thought it said he would be playing his 8th grade year at Montgomery, which with Mays track record, it wouldn't surprise me if he hoodwinked it somehow for him to be starting middle school again!
What kind of track record did he have?? He was at APB 4 years, won 4 regional titles (and their first in 17 years) and had three transfers in that period of time that actually played meaningful minutes for the Tomcats….Porter, Marcum and Carter. The first year he was there they won the region with a roster he inherited when he took the job.

He had around 8-9 and up to others. If you don’t know his track record and reputation then you have your head so far in the sand that you have no clue. You remember he was let go because he was recorded talking about 3-4 other kids he recruited while recruiting the kid he tried to get. lol. Smh
I don’t know how many others came but I do know only 3 played meaningful minutes in his 4 years. And you are being hyperbolic about him talking to “3 or 4 more”. Coaches aren’t sitting in their offices or home calling parents asking them “could you find it in your heart to send your kid to my school.” That just isn’t happening.
98% of kids that transfer to schools are first approached by the parents and the student. The “recruiting” charge gets overblown quite a bit.

Im hearing Jason James is bringing the crew over to Pike Central. Also heard Braxton Keathley and Tyler Weddington are heading home. Looks like the Hawks are headed to Rupp. Let’s just hope Keathley passes the ball.

There’s a much better chance you see Weddington and Rash at Pikeville.

Keene, Weddington, Rash, Slone, Burgette, Bowling, Bolden.

I could see Knox Wallace at Pike Central although.

Martin County getting some people from across the tug who else will they bring in and who you think will stay and leave?

Jason James hosted some big names today and had some of his players show them around the school. They seemed very interested and if he gets just 1-2 of them, Tommy and Landon better kiss their district championship next year goodbye.

Talking about transfer portal is wild. No lies detected though. These kids are moving around everywhere. I have to imagine KHSAA has a huge stack of things to look at with no real way of insuring compliance. Makes you wonder why they even have the rules.

Any names or are you just making this up for laughs?

I’ve got close connections with the MC’s organization and don’t want to expose anything yet but I promise, Landon, tommy, and the rest of the region better watch out.

I’m hearing a possibility of big names that will be announced right before summer ball starts. Much like last year when Watts enrolled. Kids seem to want to play for Coach James and the way his offense runs.

I know Keaton Terry and the Perry kid from Lawrence County are really tight. Played AAU together for years.

Keaton Terry played for AOE. Perry never did.

Terry is big buddies with one of MC players is what I heard, Terry and Dials would make a dangerous duo in the future both just freshman and MC already has a decent freshman group.

Terry is a packaged deal with another kid. He lives with their family. They won’t be coming to KY unless that kid and his family comes too.
Terry played with Perry from Lawrence, Slone from Johnson, Rimmer from Russell, and Neel from Ashland. He left Russell so we know he’s not going back there. If he goes to Lawrence, Johnson, or Ashland all those teams become real scary. But he’s not leaving.

Terry and Perry played on Team Loaded together before AOE. Along with Slone, Neel, Rimmer, Adkins from Elliott, and some other WV boys. Terry and Perry also played early years together I believe in WV.
