If they don’t win their district next season with the trash teams that are going to be in it, then they need to shut down the program. That or get some new people from top to bottom. Breathitt won’t contend at 2A. Seems like every so often they get a group through there that they build up as the next best thing. Always have the talent but it never works out.

The post that I was responding to said that Breathitt County will be a top 5 y'all in 2A NEXT SEASON. Belfry is, in fact, a 2A team next season.
And as for next season, Somerset graduates 8 seniors. 2 of them are kickers, and 1 was lost for the season with a knee injury in game 5. Other than that they have to replace 1 offensive lineman, 2 linebackers, the quarterback, and their number 3 wide receiver. Overall, Somerset was a young team this season. Their middle school teams lost a total of one game between them. If they can replace Bruner at quarterback, they should be better next season than this one.
