I think it's interesting that some criticize the KHSAA for not doing enough to stop transfers and some criticize the KHSAA for doing too much to stop transfers.

I see your point, I promise, and it is a polarizing debate that doesn't seem to have much middle ground.

But if some budgets are going to be sliced, I'd definitely rather see fewer court battles than sports that aren't exactly raking in revenue being cancelled or having what limited funding they receive severely impacted.

I wonder if some parents who want transfers policed so heavily would be as adamant if the choice were between doing that or having their daughter's soccer or son's cross country state finals hosted by at public park, or if it were their children's wrestling, field hockey, archery, bowling, or bass fishing program folding.
