The spelling of "Griffith's" name has nothing to do with Corbin being the superior team. Like is said, Corbin by 15!!

No way Corbin wins by 15 at SL. However Corbin wins by 5. Coach P is a hard out.

Be for warned I was hooked on fonics years ago.

In all seriousness I hope both teams have an injury free game. And I hope both sides display the respect their opponents deserve. Two good teams going at it. It should be a dandy, I wish I could make it, but will be looking forward to the results thread tomorrow.

Spelling doesn't have a thing to do with it. It's not a spelling issue. It's two different names! Griffin is a different name, than the kids real name of Griffith. You are dissing Andrew by addressing him as Griffin! I got a real problem with that. So, you understand me now, professor of bs? Get it right next time! That being said, SL by about a dozen And that's the bottom line...cause your daddy, stone cold, said so!

I am a clay homer but I'm not hating on south. I think south beats clay 8 out of 10 times last year. They where a horrible match up. But to say that Corbin isn't more talented this year than last is crazy. And to say south is more talented this year than last is even crazier. I still say Corbin wins on any floor

I think Corbin wins by 5 or so. Should be a great game with an electric atmosphere. This is a good old fashioned rivalry. The student sections are almost as much fun to watch as the game.

I believe you're confusing size with talent. South is obviously smaller and younger, but the bench/young kids are arguably more "talented" than any other team in the region. (call it skilled or talented. Same thing in my opinion.) Would they like to have had Andrew and Caleb another year? Absolutely. Lol.

If Boone County can edge South, Corbin can definitely beat them, even at South.

While The Professor may make a mistake or thought this to be the correct name for the player, I will assure you that he didn't attempt to diss Andrew. He isn't that kind of person.
And THAT'S the bottom line....cause yo Granny said so!

I was actually complimenting the kid. South was a better team with him. The absence of Griffith and Caleb Taylor will be too much for South to overcome, in terms of repeating as regional champs. With that said, Corbin lost no one. In fact, they added a very good post player. So, Corbin has the better team, in my mind.

Boone is not a top Northern Kentucky team, but they would still beat majority of the 13th region teams. Harlan, Corbin, South, North, and Knox "should" all beat them, but those other 4 mentioned should go around the state and try it. Completely different brand of basketball.
