Only thing that will keep them of the field is a doctor. And I bet money you can ask any of the players and they are 100 percent ready to go.

I agree with all of this, but I would hate to see a kid sit out against Belfry and all or any of the district games because they got hurt in a blowout game with no real implications. Lawrence County don't have the luxrey of a 2 to 3 deep roster in most positions like some teams do. I just hope we stay healthy in this one and I'm glad it's home on grass and not turf.

This ain't the Greenup that people scheduled in the past as a breather game. This 2015 Greenup team will punch you right in the mouth. Then it's on to Raceland who put us in our place last season. I believe that game should have been more competitive, but now the kids who were a part of that stomping can go out and prove it. Come October 9th that team needs no introduction and we have a lot of work to do to make that game anywhere near as competitive as the October Belfry game from last season.
The funny thing is, I just noticed that according to our schedule we have Raceland at home on Oct 2nd but that was a home game last season also was it not?
greenup will be a test we hope. we have not played in a couple of years. gc is supposed to be a much improved 4a school. we shall see. lc should prevail though. as far as the rams, this was a home and home 2 year deal. lc will show a different team this year against the rams. rams down this year. will be a very competitive game for awhile but lc will win at home.

I'll Take the Dawgs in this one.

That was a home game last season which ended the two year contract; this starts another one so Lawrence County gets the first home game and will travel to Raceland next year.

Go Dawgs!

Lawrence will be getting a fullback back tonight.
#39
Looks like they are giving a 60% chance of showers and thunder showers tonight. Then it's going to get very cool the next few days with 60s and 70s for highs and 40s and 50s for lows. I hope they get the game in before it rains.

What fullback???

Blake Ramey he broke his leg last year in the Rowan county game

Robert dalton is a beast!
#43
I'm going ahead and calling it right now, Robert Dalton is the fastest player to step on the field in a Bulldog uniform. That includes Michael West, brother Timmy Dalton, Hunter James or whoever you want to list. This Bulldog offense is going to be very very dangerous with Timmy and Robert both on the field. There is no defensive secondary in the Mountains who can cover two athletes like that at the same time. Timmy has a gear that no one else has on the field but Robert has a gear that I have never seen.
