Seriously? 42-6 is not a score from a barely average team. You say Harrison moved the ball up and down the field yet they get annihilated. Who are you trying to convince anyway lol? Come see me at season end and we will revisit this thread and post and see just how barely average Montgomery is. To many people trying to judge this Montgomery team from last season results. I don't need to supplement anything anyway, Montgomery had more size and their roster was double the size of ours with more depth. They have a QB with a rocket for an arm and a very good RB and huge lines but their defense is their strong suite. This Montgomery defense has given up a total of 28 points in 3 games. They held a Collins offense who is chopped full of good athletes to 7 points, held a pretty good Bulldog offense to 14 and held Harrison to 7 so..................

Figured Westweed would be overmatched in this one.

special teams a pleasant surprise. they did very well for the most part. need work on long snapping. twice the punter, shaffer, had to pick up the ball off the ground. once from his own end zone. but kick coverage all in all was much improved. the kicker is the real deal and he may find himself in a game winning situation at some point this year. lc is putting together a complete package

Great win for the Dawgs!

lc gotta work on reducing yellow flags.

Yep and they need to stop holding on run plays going up the middle lol. And I still don't know how we got called for holding on defense on an incomplete pass from Fairview lol.

Average at best.....regardless of your rhetoric. Wait till they play a high quality team. Definitely hasn't occurred yet.

I just want to say I'm proud of the dawgs as a whole. I was a little to hard on them to start the season but come district time this team will battle anyone for 4 quarters. Fairview isn't a bad team. Good job boys and coaches. Best defensive game we've played in years.

The score of this thing was 40-0 in the 4th when the Bulldog JV started coming in. We had a few big plays for TD called back due to holding and clipping. This score don't even show how dominant LC was. If we had #11 out there this could have been worse because he gives us more options, but I must say that the other receivers played well tonight when we did throw the ball.

Just found out the Washington kid #3 for Fairview is fine. Kid was released pretty quickly from the hospital. This is very good news!

Anyone else see number 1 warming up! He made things look easy. I'd love to see hall get healthy he is a monster. Number 5 still looks like that ankle is an issue. We got lot of starters out.

I did and the rumors are true, I think the kid is a little faster then #11, he sure has better acceleration IMO. I can't wait till next friday! I'm telling you right now if Timmy gets back healthy this offense will be something else with the Dalton gang on the field.

I believe they will do better then you think. I didn't say they are going to win 5A genius. I bet they have a winning record come November. Like I said we will revisit this thread on down the road.

Great team win for the bulldogs, I thought kiser played a great game made good decision all night very accurate with his passes. Chaffins with a pick six, and another one called back. Brandon richardson played on Washington and just flat out shut that screen game of fairview down, read the screen perfectly and was on washington as soon as the ball got there.
Lc was a 2 point conversion away from putting a running clock on Fairview early in the 3rd quarter. Fairview, except for roy on a couple of scrambles just could not move the ball on lc. Lc put together multiple long scoring drives and just wore out the Fairview defense.

I was wrong about this one. I thought Fairview would be able to score on Lawrence. Congratulations to Lawrence. If they get both Daltons on the field, then they could be very good. Glad to hear that Washington for Fairview is OK.

Lc was the better team no doubt , but Fairview shot their own self in the foot . Stupid penalties ,& they acted like the ball was a hot potato . Fairview was able to move the ball but couldn't hang on to it . Don't get me wrong LC would have still definitely beat Fairview if we hung onto the ball , I just think we may have scored 1 or 2 more times ,& on the 1st team . Dawgs are big , powerful ,& strong they can/ will overpower some opponents , but the weak point for them is they were very slow which surprised me I thought they would be much quicker no disrespect meant just observation . I told my friend before the game started we were beat before the 1st snap because before the game we showed no fire or enthusiasm the players body language said it all to me . My personal opinion was Fairview wasn't focused ,& was still dwelling on last week . Congrats to LC on the win & good luck rest of the year .

Not to mention, Richardsons interception in the end zone , an his touchdown reception.

Granted Timmy and Robert Dalton either one was playing and other skill players playing through minor injuries but we had a lot of long runs, kick returns took top the house, interceptions for touchdowns ect ect. I kind of felt the opposite and that LC looked much quicker. Can't be slow and shut Fairview out most of the game in my opinion just because of how fast they are as a team and how quickly they run plays. I agree Fairview didn't really help themselves with the way they played. Any word on the extent of Washington's injury?

The line was strong enough to make good blocks that helped the long runs . The skill players wasn't super slow I just meant slower than I expected them to be . As far as Antwan Washington ( the hurt player ) I just got word it was a sprain nothing serious . I haven't been told just strictly a guess I figure he might miss the next game or 2 but will be back

They won fair & square . Now I said earlier we shot ourselves in our own foot with not holding on to the ball , dropping passes that should have been caught ,& a few stupid penalties at the wrong time . I feel we should have & could have scored at least 1 more if not 2 or 3 more if not for our own mistakes , but to say Fairview couldn't move to ball on the Dawgs is somewhat off . Fairview still had over 300 yards of offense last night so we definitely moved the ball . LC was just the better team again congrats . Who do you all play next week?

In our defense a lot of our speed was sitting on the sideline. We have quite a few injuries right now. Both teams are going to get better.

I think we play Powell County or something. Glad Washington is ok and nothing too serious. It looked very bad when he went down.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I used to wish we could get turf on our field, but any more I'm glad we just stick to grass. It feels that every time we play a team on turf we start racking up injuries. I think most of the injuries we have right now are from the BL scrimmage or the MC game.
