Whitley and Perry Cent spread it out and I think have a combined 2 wins. I think most coaches have to adjust their team to what they have and what the players can do. Not every team has a passing qb or a group of wrs or even a line that can block good. Easy to tell someone to throw but when the qb can't then what. Don't say work on it because they can either do it at this point if they can't.
I get the impression that some people think that when the team shows up the coaches decide what they can and cannot do, Passing has to start in p we age passing the ball is no different from running the ball you have t TEACH THEM HOW.

I agree with you about this. I started out thinking after what they lost last year, they would not be very good, but like someone said 'I do not believe they are going to go away quietly'! They are right there every game in the thick of things - that game the other night from the video I saw of it, that one call the Ref's missed later in the game they could have won that game. North had some good size blocking backs in there that were paving the way for their RB's.

this is Whitley's first year of running the spread. if you dont have a quarterback that can pass, you better get one. that running against a stacked box crap is over and a thing of the past.

seems like a lot of refs need to be put through training programs for sure:biglmao:

that's the problem. they dont get taught how to pass the ball at most elementary schools, and a lot of the highschool coaches haven't even wanted them to pass. the power running works up until you get in the playoffs with better coached teams with a balanced offense.

looks like they've built a decent program. the addition of Black has helped them.

He and several of the other freshmen are contributing this year, although he has played mainly defense at the varsity level. Probably good to give him a year of freshman and jv work first, should be good to go next year.
Friend of mine from London told me yesterday that some of their Freshmen, had already scored TD's on the varsity this year. Sounding better and better for North all the time.
