I don't think that'll be the difference? They have the Maynard kid and the Charles kid that can run the ball when they need it, and they'll also pick apart their secondary. I think they win and one of those two mentioned at least has 100 yards rushing.

My understanding was that an ejection has to happen before a suspension from a game? One was for spiking the ball in excitement after a TD. The other one I could see as he jawed with a Belfry player after scoring a TD again. The spiking wasn't even show off, it wasn't like he reared back and spiked like the pros do. I was a little surprised the flag flew. I've seen far worse. Can someone more knowledgable elaborate on this potential issue, and if it even is an issue?

Got the answer. He was ejected but it was a mistake. One foul was officially deemed unsportsmanlike, the other was a personal foul. Will be fine for Middlesboro.

The thing that impresses me about Pikeville is their focus game to game, if you think about how the staff prepares the team that's where's games are won. Those kids believe and soak in all that that their position coaches are selling then Mac closes the deal with them. No one has said one word about Sullivan being back at Pikeville but you should look back at Paintsville last year and this year without him, the kids love him and perform based on how and what he teaches. Paintsville would be much better if he were still here. Best to the Panthers.

really don't know the rule on the issue, but It's a shame a kid can't celebrate a little when he works so hard to score. Not only Pikeville, but any hs team.

I will be surprised if M'boro wins but I wouldn't be overly shocked. However, M'boro only scored on a fumble return and a halfback pass against Bell Co. Going to have to bring more than that to the table against Pikeville. Again, I expect to see a very entertaining game and will probably make the long trip to the 'boro.:popcorn:

For the Middlesboro fans: Foister and Poindexter are gone from last year's team. I know they were very good players. But the Yellowjackets also lost a bunch of linemen:
#55 Hunter Collett, #63 Nick Murrell, #62 Jason Napier, #64 Matt Napier, #58 Tyler Prater, and #57 Ben Slusher. That's a lot of linemen. How good were those guys and how has the Middlesboro line looked this year?

Poindexter was a good player but probally not even top 3 or 4 on the team.. All those linemen was very good and I thought we would struggle because of that but I have been wrong so far this year... Our defense has been outstanding so far but we havn't played nobody near as explosive as pikeville.. Our offensive line has played decent but not great they need to step up if I want my prediction to be true this friday.. We have two of the best backs in the mountains maybe state but if they dont block I'm not sure what they can do...
