We will take that bet.

The great thing is we will settle it on the field!!!!!!!!!!! 7-3 Season

What do you determine as better beating Bell? Winning district? Winning at least 10 games? Region? State? I don't think that they will achieve any of these.
#34
This will not be a successful year unless we beat Bell,10 win season, Win district outright, and win region. PERIOD!!! That is what is expected!!!!!!!!!

If that is the case it will be very disappointing for the Jackets!!!

OPEN MOUTH INSERT FOOT. Learn to be modest and compete with character before you start making statements like that. have a few of these on hand.

IMO: Bell Co. will be very good. Middlesboro will struggle to go 7-3 more like 6-4 and finish 2nd or 3rd in Dist.
#38
Middlesboro is in for a rude awakening! Things will not go as planned.

Are you serious!!!! This very well could be a long longgggg year, with expectation like these the new coach does not stand a chance.
#40
My buddy call me a few minute ago an told me he counted 32 players out for spring practice in Middlesbor. Thats pretty good number not counting baseball player or incoming freshman

He knew it coming in. That is the expectations!! Nothing less.

Your buddy lied to you 18 players dressed today for the first day. Maybe a couple that were not dressed and the 8th grade working out with no pads. We will see what happens day #2.
#42
From the baseball game last night they are only about 4 players that play both. The plan is going to fall apart in the Boro.

Are the 8th graders allowed to participate at all?

well was they 14...8Th grader that makes 32 do the math FlippedOut :blondetea

not in pads
#46
No about 6. They may have had 32 people including coaches, managers and parents watching. We have never had over 22 during anything we have done so far. Workouts or spring ball. Like I said we will see what day 2 brings.

The math escapes me when teachers look like that. LOL

Reminds me of a Lynard Skynard song???:eyeroll:

Numbers are not good. I do know they had over 40 last year for spring ball. 18 is low. They can not have a spring game with that number.
#49
We will have to wait and see before anything can be said on how many games can be won. I am hearing there are more losses in players than many think.
#50
Day #2 numbers up to 24 dressed, much better. Can have a spring game. We can get an idea of what to expect then.
#51
What offense and def will they use? Will he bring back the veer from his days of playing for Roark?

If what I am hearing is correct some disappointed people in Middlesboro. 1 back gun, Franklin System????????????????????
#53
Haha you guys blow my mind. Middlesboro is going to look like grown men on the field this year. They lack in depth but with pittman and barton back along with this huge line up front no team will beat them on their schedule.

Can't wait to play the Jackets. That is what you will be saying about the Bobcats when you see them.
#55
We will run it down your throat..you bunch of blow hards
#56
Not running the Franklin system.
#57
Bahaha bobcats you're the least of our worries. We pounded your team all game last year and were gonna do the same. Wear you old bobcats down like an old pair of shoes. You can take that to the bank.

I have heard. There are reasons for many more concerns.

Pretty cocky for a bunch that has won 3 times in 30 years?
#60
The game will not be what the Jackets are hoping for. It will not be the season that they had last year.
