You got me, I believe the hype, and I was let down. But Zach had no business in the other teams huddle, when it was a clean foul to begin with.

Cordia scored more in the 2nd half cuz they shot the ball better.
Bottom line....we spent months being tortured with Cordia fans taking over every thread and making it all about Cordia....now we know they have nothing.....and PCC will beat them even worse than KCC did....I am praying to get to see that, but since I doubt Cordia will make it out of the district and I don't think they have PCC scheduled, I probably won't get to see that. Shoot!!!!!

Khalil was completely wrong for jawing. Now can u say the same about Davis which done something 10 times worse then jawing?
hey Dude it's wrong every time by every body.....but you guys have been so obnoxious about this team that you probably brought it on the team yourselves. Do you realize how sick everyone in the 14th has gotten from hearing you guys on here and on Facebook and everywhere else running your mouths about how that team was going to dominate? All that does is make the other team want it that much more. You know why KCC has never beat Cordia that bad before? Because they have always had enough respect to call the dogs off and not just try to embarass the Lions. You guys ran your mouths so much that they decided this time they would teach you a little lesson. You didn't do the Lions any favors!

Knott played a great game. They had a great game plan and never eased up. Yeah, BB did bring in his JV during a small period during the 3rd, but brought his starters back into the game before the quarter ended. Brought his JV perminately like with just 3 or 4 minutes left in the game.
12-09-2011, 12:27 AM
^They are good just bad night against lot more experienced team. As far as Hudson he touched the ball In the set twice gotta figure summin out there. A team that is completely horrible wouldn't beat jchs to death like they did. I kno its Jackson city. But would someone like jenkins do that. I dont think so..
12-09-2011, 12:28 AM
Knott is the best team in this region. Plain and simple.
12-09-2011, 12:28 AM
ekff and Newpat get out of the way. Its my turn. Anyway, I predicted Knott to win by 20+ and I was right. I didnt think Knott would win by that huge of a margin though. Sounds like Cordia's gym was the Alamo tonight as all the Texans got destroyed.
12-09-2011, 12:29 AM
I don't care who played or what happen.. Top 10 teams don't lose by 60 against another team in the region.

Totally disagree. Not just a few years ago Cordia had a top 3 team in this region and 14th Player of The Year. Knott hasn't won by that much before cuz they haven't had the mis mathes they had in this game. Cordia had nobody to guard Zach, nobody to guard Cameron Justice.

You better hope Jaysean Paige don't get to play against Cordia.

WALL2WALL Wrote:As a Cordia fan I had a huge reality check tonight. Cordia has a long way to go to compete with the Knott's and Perry's of the world. Knott was quicker, stronger, have a better basketball IQ, and can shoot the ball. Cordia has a lot of shooters, but not a lot of makers. I say they were lucky to shoot 20% from the field.
I just watched the best team and the best payer in this region. I truly believe that Knott is the best team in the 14th and Zach Davis is the best in the 14th when he is healthy, and folks he is healthy. He has more explosiveness than I have ever seen out of him.
Now I did say he is the best in the 14th, but after what happened in the 1st quarter I have lost a lot of respect for Zach. Zach got fouled, and it was a clean foul, and I guess Zach thought different. Zach went INTO Cordia's huddle and pointed his finger at the player who fouled him and started to run his mouth. Rhodes just put his hand between him and his player and BB got mad that he had his hand on Zach and BB and Rhodes got into a very heated discussionn. But Zach started that whole mess, he had no business in Cordia's huddle and cuz of that I have lost a lot of respect of him.
Sorry Perry fans but I have seen Braxton play and I have seen Justice play, I like Justice better. Better body, and handles that team extremely well. I know everybody has there own opinion and they all stink, but I like Cameron Justice as a PG better than Braxton Beverly.
Once Knott got a 20 point lead Cordia gave up. Zach got two explosive dunks that were beast but they happened when Rhodes had his JV in during the 3rd quarter. Owens lead Cordia in scoring but not a single player for Cordia had a good game(on either side of the ball).
Was a great atmosphere at the start of the game, loudest I have ever seen that gym. Butgot out of hand quick.
Congrats Patriots, keep yout heads up Lions!!!!!
It wasn't Zach that got fouled on that play, one of Cordia's players fouled Camron Justice hard and Zach took offense to it and was trying to protect his teammate which you have to respect. And Rhodes gave Zach a little push while telling him to get out of his huddle which then caused BB King to react because Zach was pushed by Rhodes. But Zach had no business going in to Cordia's huddle like that. He had to know something bad was going to happen when he did that.
Cordia ran a three man weave the entire game and did not run any set plays at all. They looked totally unorganized on offense and could not stop anything on defense. I sat behind Cordia's bench and Rhodes did not have control of his team. K. Williams and A. Williams refused to come out at one point in the game when he tried to sub for them and he had to burn a timeout to get them off the floor. I hope they can learn from this loss and get better or it will be a long year for the Lions.
Knott was very impressive, probably the best team they have had in a long time..I would say better than Cox and Stampers senior year.

first time in my life im glad knott county beats the hell outta someone. cordia isn't and won't be on the same level as this regions powerhouses for awhile, if ever. cordia fans don't realize half of their team is made up of kids who couldn't play on the best teams of this region.

Top 3??? I don't remember top 3... Oh you must be putting Cordia ahead of hazard again... Like always...

They would probably get to play same amount you got to play wood chuck 3 or 4 mins start the game than straight to the bench.

Listen, yes I did run my mouth. yes I believed the hype. I was wrong, I am sure you guys are loving it. You were tired of us saying Cordia will be with these top teams and we were so far from the truth. We can shut up but we won't. We will still root for our team, no matter what the score is. And we will always stick up for them on these threads.
Cordia has so much room for improvement and that is the one thing I can take away from this game. If they can improve their shooting, they can play closer with these teams, but they shot horrible.

I have lost a lot of respect for a lot of people from Cordia after seeing these posts on here and on facebook, etc. They got what they asked for. And its mostly adults...... As for the incident with Davis, According to my sources, it was not a clean foul, and for someone who has had the injury problems he has, if it wasnt a clean foul, then i dont blame him. Second of all, no one knows what he said when he went to the cordia huddle. 3rd of all, blame it on Cordia fans for hyping this game up, so emotions are probably going to interfere with the game some.

I disagree with this....I still think PCC is....I just wanted someone to whip the Texas boys....my problem from day one has been I want to see mountain boys play and I disagree with the recruiting form out of state and out of the country....If Paige doesn't play, I want to see PCC repeat this year....If he does KCC all the way!!!!

Even with peryy having Jaysean, I still say Knott is the best team in the 14th. PCC is my pick to win the region, but Knott is the best.

Rhodes was sick of his starting 5. He played jv the entire third. No excuses, but Thats the reason of the huge margin. Knott got up twenty on Jenkins an let jv finish the game. Lol didn't happen tonight. Davis had two huge nasty amazing dunks.....on austin combs lol. BB wanted a beat down an he got. Congrats pats.
12-09-2011, 12:38 AM
I admit, I was wrong. I thought Cordia would been better than this. I knew KC would win but not by 63.

OK,it may had been Justice who was fouled, but Zach still had no business in the other teams huddle.
And Rhodes never pushed him, just had his hand on his chest but NEVER pushed him.

I didn't say it happened every year. Cordia acutally beat KCC in a district tournament game a few years ago and I was sitting in the gym when it happened. But, I promise you, more often than not, KCC could have run the score up against Cordia far more than what they did. You are in extreme denial if you say otherwise.

I don't care what anybody says. Josh Mullins was going after the ball. It was a clean foul.

When were they a top three. The best they could have been was fourth because they lost to Letcher Central in the District Finals and Perry Central and Hazard were the teams in the regional finals.
