not even... close

Fan of all Sports Wrote:Major upgrade to the schedule will be noticeable in the won/loss columns. Dogs need to expect a 6-4 or 5-5 regular season with the hopes of a deep playoff run. Have some good talent returning but going to (in my opinion) need lineman to play both sides of the ball. This is something they haven't had to do in the last few years. Second halves have been where LC has taken over games but fatigue may play more of a factor this fall.

Good Luck to the new staff.

schedule really isnt much different, balances its self out from last year.

4-6 or 5-5.

TTT Anything new??

looking good in the weight room, dan leibee is going to be great. That adds a good linemen to big country, quillen, bradshaw, and adams.
#42
LC has a few guys who can play wing-back. Skylar Salyer, Derek Ferguson, Lance Clay, and even Josh Marcum LB can run the ball. There is some really good youth players coming up as well. Coach Cecil will figure it all out and this team will be ready..
#43
How is the LC defense going to look?

Excluding Combs that is a really young offensive line group.

They won't be very good this year compared to their recent years.

I AM THE GENIUS
#46
The line play will be very important for a good year.
#47
the defense should be the strong point of this year's team. very solid
#48
Heard that Goldsmith is coming up to help with a booster club fundraiser soon.
#49
Always good to see Billy in Louisa.

What are some things that will challege coach Cecil and his young staff in their first year? Joey is as good as a coach that I have been around and knows tons about the game of football. Excellent hire for Lawrence County.
#51
When does practice start?
#52
practice starts today from what i hear but not sure.
#53
Lawrence County has a scrimmage set up with Huntington High.
#54
With a new coaching staff just wondering how many kids out?
#55
i believe 50-60 kids right now
#56
From a talent standpoint LC returns a lot. Take a look at the starters they return this year. Hayden Kiser, Caleb Bentley, Jacob Marcum, Lance Clay, Josh Marcum, Tyler Combs, Blake Shaeffer, Jordan Wellman, Cole Cyrus. If the Bulldogs can get some good line play they could be a contender out of the east.
#57
When is the scrimmage scheduled for and where?
#58
The scrimmage is at Huntington high on the 13th
#59
I just saw on the Lazer that Caleb Bentley tore his ACL and will be out for the season. What a big loss for the Dawgs and even bigger for Caleb. I was looking at him being the go to guy this season so some one will have to step up. Good luck to the Dawgs and to Mr. Bentley on his recovery.
