......"I am excited about being named the new head basketball coach at Holmes High School," Booher stated his morning. "They have a rich basketball tradition that I will work hard to continue."


He admitted that it will be difficult to leave Shelby Valley.


Booher said, "the past six years at Shelby Valley High School have been great it was a very tough decision to leave because of all the success we have had here and the relationships that were built."


He plans to bring the same system that flourished at Shelby Valley to his new team.


"I look forward to the opportunity to one day cut the nets down again in Rupp Arena with the Bulldogs, which is every team and coaches dream," Booher said of his future plans. "I cannot wait to implement my high pressure, full court defense and fast paced offense at Holmes High. I think it will be a great fit."
