I'm not really sure why he would want to leave Dunbar for Shelby County. Most of the talen will be at Collins.
It says this in the article:
Sowers said he was drawn to Shelby County for the challenge of building a program and his familiarity with Principal Eddie Oakley (a former Dunbar assistant principal) and Athletic Director Sally Zimmerman (as a former coaching foe).
I guess that could help explain why.
