The C-J's 2010 Kentucky All-State Basketball Teams

You stated that Sewell had a better season than anyone in state and was punished for losing in region. Is that an opinion or a fact?

Justice had as good as season as Sewell. I am sure he swayed some voters during the Sweet 16 but wonder how many voters had never seen him play before the Sweet 16.

Point is, Sewell did the same thing ALL YEAR against the best in the state. Justice had a good sweet 16 against the less competitive bottom bracket and wins the award.

I'm willing to bet that had the voting been done before the sweet 16, Sewell gets the award. Look at how many sweet 16 tourney mvp's (seniors) have won Mr. Basketball over the years and then compare it to how many votes they received for first team all state. You'll be surprised...which goes in to my whole theory that politics are a major factor of who wins Mr. Basketball.
