How does the Khsaa really determine when a kid transfers to another school for them to be eligible.I understand a legitimate move of residence has to be made.At least that is supposed to be the rule.If you start varsity ball for one school and the next year you are starting varsity ball for another school.Without a change of residence how is this possible. Also should not the Khsaa investigate a little bit to see why the change was made in the first place. My understanding is that you cannot move solely for athletic purposes also.I am 100% for kids playing ball but the Khsaa has to be the biggest joke. They pick and choose who can and who cannot change. When if they are a governing body the rules should be the same for everyone no matter what the reasoning. If you have been in a school system from your first day of kindergarten til the middle of your junior year in high school and have played sports and you transfer only for the reason of trying to be on a better team them shame on the parents for allowing this to happen.Shame on the Khsaa for being such a poorly run organization and shame on the school for pursuading a kid and parents to make such a decision.
