I think Pike Central has a chance to get better also with coach having 1 year under his belt. If you think about it, better would mean making it to the state-semis or championship. Hopefully the improvement happens.

I looked up some past records and I wouldnt say Trimble Co is comparable to East Ridge. According the the KHSAA site over the last 4 years:

East Ridge: 6-35

Trimble Co: 21-24

What i meant by a year under his belt, and having some more exp. with his team was....

-Losing the Belfry game, which i thought PCC couldve won.
-Getting blown out by Shelby Valley in the Pike county bowl, which couldve been close
-Losing to Tulsa WV, a game that PCC should have blown out.

What I meant by having a coach going into his second year, had nothing to do with talent, etc. It has to do with havin playing ready, having your team ready for a dog fight, having your team used to being in tight games, and so on.
