[Scotty doesn't know]

With all due respect to Shelby Valley I think basketball in this state is at an all time low. When was the last time you could ever remember that a bad Betsy Lane team could play within 6 points of the state champion? Also, just an average Perry Co team beat a state champion? Like I said, not knocking SV, I think they had a good team (not great) and won the championship.

Why do you even bring up crap like this. I believe that the state knows that there is a lapse of D1 talent and NBA talent but to call out a team who beat every team in the state tourney by double digits when mutiple teams around the state Scott, Trinity and Ballard were ranked nationally all year long. Keep an opinion like that to yourself man, really, I think that the passion and reward for winning the sweet sixteen has not lost a bit of luster. To make the comparison of a Besty Layne team pushing Valley in the regional final to a really weak STATE CHAMPION is absolutely stupid. I mean the anyteam can have a bad shooting night against an inferior opponent. Just look at UK playing South Carolina this year. Please stop with dumb posts like this and just help bring your self to the point that you can deal with Valley winning it all and beating every team but double digits.
