14th Region Coaches: Going Or Staying?
AleDavJes Wrote:First of all, the very reason for Mr. Tiller’s resignation was to get away from the stresses of basketball. Seeing this is the case, why in the world would he be looking for another job, especially in the same district he just left? Mr. Tiller coaching Powell is just silly.

Secondly, the coaches at Breathitt County High School have little reason to leave. There may be politics pushing them one direction or another, but politics exist at every level and in every job. The two coaches at Breathitt have built a successful basketball program at a football school, and in recent years have contended for regional prominence. It is unlikely they would leave the program that they built, one so close to winning on the regional level. It is even more unlikely that they would leave Breathitt for a school in the same region, with fewer facilities, and that would likely pay less.

Politics is not pushing them in any direction. The lack of coaching ability to coach and not win the district in 2-years is pushing them out. A person that would get on this site and state that Noble is building the program up has definitely lost there mine.:moon:
