My team was one of the top 25 teams on the hardcore ladder on world at war for 3 straight seasons playing SnD. I had a specific route I ran on each map. I know all about this.
Its really fun. when you get players to play with, and learn set-ups and etc. I haven't really tried on CoD. But I could imagine its intense.
