The foundation was there before Pardue became head coach. Then it fell out. Pardue was a great OC, but like has been mentioned, he was not a good head coach. He didn't reign in his assistants and he hired a bad OC.

French has one loss in 2 seasons at Boyle. Pardue never approached that in any two seasons.

Oh well who knows we are only speculating anyway. Coach French does a great job obviously. I was wondering what you mean by reigning in his assistants? I am an outsider as some have posted but just curious to what seems to be the big difference with French at the helm. I have read a couple of things on here like Pardue ran off kids by yelling at them etc. Elaborate if you don't mind. Thanks.
