This nation seems to be hurtling toward bankruptcy, so I favor scrapping the current system and implementing the Fair Tax in its place. That would eliminate the need for the IRS and for individual tax returns. The Fair Tax would also attract new investment and jobs to this country.

I do not mind paying the taxes that I currently pay but government growth and the expansion of entitlements must be reversed before they consume everything that this nation produces. An economy based on consumption cannot survive for long.
