Ashland Blazer 53 - Russell 37

Congrats to Coach Bradley and his Kittens !........... Maybe Russell should try setting some solid pics or running plays so their guards could get open, instead of constantly trying to force the ball inside. More than half their turnovers came from inside in this game.
Russells guards were 3 for 6 from beyond the arc so I really doubt that was the reason they lost. They were about 4 for 21 from 10 feet in. Getting outrebound by 15 added to the difference. That allowed the Kittens to take 15 more shots than Russell. That was the number of 3 point attempts the Kittens took, so they know that it takes more than inside play to win a game. Probably a good idea to box out Connor and play D on her(22pnts-16 boards), although I thought she committed enough fouls to foul out of two games,Refs either call it or they don't. But that was not the reason Russell lost.
