I can't remember any SV fan or EKY fan making any comments about SV being better than Holmes or having a real good chance to beat them. I know that Holmes is a state contender and I respect their program very much. There is a lot more hate coming toward this end than from it. The 15th got a great draw for the state tournament, but I know that they could easily lose in the 1st or 2nd round if they don't bring their "A" game. If SV makes it, they can't just show up and expect to win.

I can definitely agree with that. It has gotten to where I (as an SV fan) can't ask a question about a Holmes game w/o getting negativity toward SV's team. I don't ever remember making any negative comments toward Holmes in order to try to make SV look any better. You, like I, have wondered at times why this Holmes team has struggled at times with lesser teams. Like I said in the rankings thread, something has to be missing (leadership, desire, point play, etc.) for them not to be as consistent as many expected. Maybe they've gotten it together now. Next week will tell alot.
