UK menâs basketball player DeMarcus Cousins was named the SEC Freshman of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.Cousins, a 6-11 forward from Birmingham, Ala., averaged 18.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in wins over No. 25 Ole Miss and at LSU.
