Wasn't the game at Ashland canceled also? I think it was do to weather conditions(not sure). My point is I don't remember any conversation about that cancellation on Rivals. Why wait until Rose Hill cancels to make a big deal of it.

I'm not sure if this comment was directed at me, but I originally just wanted to know the score of the game. When I found out that RH did cancel it for weather I just stated my opinion that I think that this game could have been played (and to be honest, an opinion I think a lot of people shared), especially since other area schools played their games and travelled farther distances. Of course safety comes first, but the roads were not bad last night. I don't think I was making a "big deal" about it.

In regard to your comment about the cancelling of the prior game between Ashland and RH, that game was scheduled at Ashland and RH also made the cancellation call on that contest. I don't think that anyone had a problem with that especially since they were the travelling team. Last night's game, at RH, sounds like it was cancelled by RH also (the non-travelling team). I don't think that RH would cancel a game just because they don't want to plow their parking lot (as the host school I'm sure RH would accept this responsibility as part of the pre-game preparation if it is needed). Now RH and Ashland have to make up 2 seed games at the end of the season. This means both teams may be playing 3 and maybe 4 games in a week (due to makeups) at a time when the girls are already getting worn down from a long season - which can lead to injury. I just hate to see any girl injured when they have worked hard the entire season. Agree or not, this is just how I see it.
