I'm not taking up for either side, but from monitoring it, it started when this site got so many Holmes backers posting that some of the bombs did start from the EKY end. From the posts, I'm pretty confident that it was students that starting the negative comments about Homes. Then the ripping started.

As long as the chiding is civil, I really don't mind it. I hate the Steelers, and have no issue with telling Steeler fan that I hate their team. When it comes to HS ball, we have to remember that this is about HS players, not the fans.

Much of it started with others attacking EKY teams, but they've got to realize that this site has more of an EKY fanbase so naturally there is going to be more discussion about the EKY teams. I'm glad the site has grown, but that doesn't mean that everyone who post about their team from EKY is wrong. Plus many of the "overzealous" fans that we continually read about are kids who don't always know how to use tact and good reason when posting.
