I can't remember any SV fan or EKY fan making any comments about SV being better than Holmes or having much of a chance to beat them. I know that Holmes is a state contender and I respect their program very much. There is a lot more hate coming toward this end than from it.

I'm not taking up for either side, but from monitoring it, it started when this site got so many Holmes backers posting that some of the bombs did start from the EKY end. From the posts, I'm pretty confident that it was students that starting the negative comments about Homes. Then the ripping started.

As long as the chiding is civil, I really don't mind it. I hate the Steelers, and have no issue with telling Steeler fan that I hate their team. When it comes to HS ball, we have to remember that this is about HS players, not the fans.
