At least someone else on here is seeing the point I have been trying to make. 7th graders who start on and play on on the A team will get to play in the A team tournament. The kids who start B team and never get time in the A team games if they are even on the A team will be done wrong.

A rule Floyd county use to have that I believe would be good for Pike County is if you start on the A team as a 5th, 6th or 7th grader, you cannot play on B or C teams.

Its just a matter of being fair to all of these kids. Now if the kids started on B team and A team, then nothing will be said by anyone. If they play B team only for the tournament, there will be a lot of upset kids and parents.

As for my statements about Mullins beating Feds Creek B team, I was wrong. I said from the beginning that I was not sure but I thought we had won but we did not. It was a good game though.

Ok so from this post you are saying that in your opinion 7th graders who start A team should be ineligible which I think is wrong. A 7th grader is a 7th grader. However you wanna know what I think is wrong is when you have 7th graders who are supposed to be freshmen playing the 7th grade tourney. In my opinon I think that all true 7th graders should get to play the tourney regardless of what teams they start on. So, if that is going to be a rule then you need to get ages for all 7th graders and any holdbacks should not get to play either if you wanna make it FAIR as you say. Because in my opinion what you are trying to do is keep the good 7th graders out of the tourney. If you want to have a 7th grade tourney then have a 7th grade tourney!!!
