Walton Verona was too much for the Lady Owls. They had a lot of 3 pointers tonight, and their defense forced Owsley into too many turnovers, which they usually converted into easy baskets.
Good defensive team too. Wright and Turner wasn't allowed to get into any kind of offensive flow. They appeared to get frustrated with the constant double teaming by a deep Walton Verona team.
Walton Verona would compete quite well in the 14th region if they were in it, if they always shoot and play like they did tonight. They're right up there with the top teams in our region imo.
