Yes he is paid to coach but not parent. I am not saying he should not get some of the blame. However, lets get real the problem with kids nowadays is the parents and kids with attitudes. First of all kids DO NOT want to work at all to get better. Then if he doesn't play then its I will quit or I will transfer. Then if that doesn't work then go home to mommy and daddy and cry about something. What does mommy and daddy do, run to the coach and complain. What happened to Daddy saying if you not playing its your fault. You better work harder if you want to play ( which is what I got at home). If you like where you are at then don't complain. You have to earn your playing time and if you get your chance then you better show someone you should be playing. Man, that was the good ole days. Well I guess those days are over. Kids with attitudes are what we are becoming in all phases of life. I think it it time for Tommy to send them home if they don't like it. I would rather watch a team that does not win a game but busts their tails rather than a team who might win a few games but gives the coaches no respect.:igiveup:

Unfortunately, and the scary part of all of this is that these will be the same kids that will be hitting the job trail in a couple of years. Kids dont want to work to get better? Tell it like it is, kids just dont want to work period. They are not taught to.
