LOUISVILLE, Ky. â No. 1 Trinity registered its 16th straight win as the Rocks defeated rival St. Xavier 62-46 at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky in front of 5,400 fans.
Leading Mr. Basketball candidate Josh Sewell scored a game high 22 points to lead the Shamrocks.
It marked Trinityâs fifth win in six games in the series dating to 2004.
Postgame Notes
⢠Trinity has won 16 straight games, the best streak in school history. Trinityâs last loss came on Dec. 15, 2009.
⢠The Rocks have won 18 of their last 19 games overall, including 16 straight.
