I'm not pointing fingers, but I don't know why everyone continues to get so upset when someone expresses their opinion on a player or team. In this case its Elisha Justice and his team Shelby Valley. Now I know some of the SV fans blow a lot of smoke, but its mostly the kids doing. There's nothing wrong with it at all, but you never see the wiser SV fans on here saying anything about Valley being #1 or winning the Sweet 16. Another thing is when someone says that Elisha Justice is basically flawless. I don't think that their is one member on this site that can show where anyone thinks he's this god like figure or does no wrong, because believe it or not he's human and a teenager. He's probably the best player we've seen in EKY since OJ Mayo & Bill Walker. Now I'm in no-way-shape-or-form comparing him to those two players. But he's the most talented player we've seen since those two played for Rose Hill and I think most of us can agree with that.

Now we all know anyone can lose on any given night. Heck, Lexington Christian knocked off Scott County just the other week and I don't think anyone predicted that outcome. It doesn't mean that SC is overrated or LCA is underrated. Its just the simple fact that anyone can lose on any given night. Point I'm really trying to make is that everyone gets so worked up over someone's opinion. If you're bashing a player or team then I'd understand someone getting upset, but when someone says something that you believe is almost unreal doesn't mean that you should just blast that particular person because they were only expressing their opinion.

Again, I'm not trying to point fingers at anyone or trying to get anyone worked up.

Great post BCA. I have no dog in this fight, but your comments are well intended. Too often we have extremes that want to knock a player and then the otherside of the argument wants to defend, thus make their player sound better than he really is.

I see it happen more with schools than I do with players. I see way too often where the arguments go way overboard when discussing the rivalries between schools and everyone wants to knock the other side of the argument. There is a lot of knocking a team only for selfish purposes instead of constructive debate.
