You be the bigger person! Ignorance is all over the world, and by him being the more mature individual then it shows great character on his part. I have friends who have been done no different and I always commented their maturity for not giving into such ignorance. By him acting like he does only makes him have a grudge against people the rest of his life because of a few "idiots". He will go into the real world one day far from the mountains, (where some individuals like to stay because they usually have the most insecurities and it's comfortable and fine for them to stay ignorant) and he will be trying to get a job, support a family, whatever he pleases and he needs to understand that not all people are as ignorant as a few. If he acts accordingly and doesn't show progression on his part, then we will never move forward towards equality.

A lot to ask of a young man that is not much past being old enough to drive... but yeah I do get what you are saying.

Just sad to me that you have a situation like this, and I KNOW there has to be some administrators in attendance or a fan/parent that see/hears this garbage and not a word is said. Shows a lack of maturity/class on the part of the adults IMO, yet we expect these kids to be the mature ones....
