Congrats Pikeville, This could of very well been the worst effort by a SV girls basketball team that I have ever seen.(Which at the start of the season I thought would be in the top 3 or 4 teams in the region) SV acted as if they didn't even want to be there from the looks of their play.They put in no effort at all on the defensive end as Pikeville got about any shot they wanted at any time. SV looked as if they were lost on the offensive end and looked as if certain ones were playing for a spot on the all tourney team instead of playing as a team. Looks to me that he(Coach Rowe) has some pretty good younger talent that needs to get their chance at it soon and could probably help if the older girls don't pick it up soon because if I'm going to take beatings like this I believe I would just as soon take them with players that want to play and that are going to help in the future and they need to get experience, not just throwed to the wolves in the next year or two or it will be the same old thing repeating itself. I hope they can get things lined out fast and if they don't start playing as a team the year is only going to get worse, and as of now I see it getting worse because I don't see any heart and desire to get better or win. :igiveup:
