Earlier this year, I watched Knott County Central boys beat Jenkins by more than 90 points. I did not feel like they were trying to run up the score. The starters played less than a half, they did not press after the first quarter, Knott county played a 2-3 zone the entire second half, and stood still and let Jenkins shoot. That's about all you can do besides telling your players not to shoot. Sometimes things like this cannot be helped.
