These names are the only ones that I have heard around town.

Jay Cobb didn't walk out on his team the way you say it. Jay had issues with the Admin and thought the only way the team would get the support it needed is if he "Fell on the sword" for the team. He knew the team was preparred and ready for the season when he left. Very very few parents or players resented what he did at the time. He had the support of nearly every single person that mattered to this team....the players, the coaches and the parents.

FYI don't be surprised if the new coach up there is from the Somerset / Pulaski area.....Supt Floyd is from Somerset and knows all of the local coaches very well.
