I hate to bring this up again, but does anyone really believe that Highlands is the third best team in the country? They are very good and I don't mean to belittle their accomplishment as the best team in Kentucky. That said, they wouldn't be top ten in some states.

These National rankings are just ludicrous. Highlands lofty ranking is based almost entirely on their win over Cincy St. X. At one point some polls had the Bombers ranked as high as number one in the country. They ended up losing three games and were eliminated in the second round of the Ohio playoffs.

Now, I'll sit back and wait on the nasty remarks to come my way! :biggrin:

First off, I've never saw Highlands play this year so this opinion isn't based on anything. To answer your question no. I don't think they are the number 3 team in the country, but the top 2 rank teams may not be worthy of their rankings either. I think Highland is a great team and am glad they are ranked so high.
