Highlands Finishes at #3 in the Nation - USA Today
#9
AU_Purple_Eagles Wrote:I saw all the top teams in Ohio play throughout the season and up in Stark County for the championships and I saw Highlands play. Not that this is any barometer of national rankings, but there wasn't a team in Ohio that Highlands couldn't beat 8 out of 10 times.

Talent wise no one, and I mean no one in the country has the talent Cleveland Glenville has. Top to bottom more future NFL talent on that team, just not as cohesive as a bunch than a Highlands or a Hilliard Davidson.

I would guess Highlands could lose to any of the other Top 50 scholastic teams, but I would bet they could just as easily beat most of them too. Having not seen a team lake Lake Travis out of TX or Don Bosco, can't say that definitively; but Highlands certainly merits their final ranking.

That statement is so silly that I won't even rebutt it. I'll let it stand on its own.

For the record, I know Ohio high school football pretty well.
