In the game that I saw KCC against Fairdale, I actually thought they had really good defensive intensity and rebounded well. Fairdale and Seneca are just more athletic than them so they were able to use that to beat the pressure and rebound with the bigger Patriots.



KCC plays Shelby Co today at 6:00 in the 5th place bracket game.



KCC is still a good team. Trust me. Like every team though at this point, they still have a few things to work on to get where they need to be.

Seneca would beat PCC too so let's not sit here and try to act like KCC lost to a bad team. Seneca would win the 14th with ease this year. Not a knock on any of those teams, but the Redhawks are simply that good.

Kudos to Knott for actually getting out of the mountains and playing some solid competition. It will help them in the long run.

Half the 7th region teams could win the 14th region with ease. And the 13th. And the 16th. Shelby Valley of the 15th would finish about 4th at best in the 7th region, and they are the best team in the mountains.

Mountain teams just have a hard time matching up with the athleticism and talent of these large metropotitan schools.
