If I can weigh in on the Rice situation, I think he is a starting caliber player, I also think he can and will get starting minutes as the 6th man. I think off the bench he is an emotional player who provides a spark and is a legit scoring threat off the bench. Alot similar to he and Housely's role last year.

However, if Holmes had more depth at the C/PF position, I think him and Eli would be a great starting front court. However I see Henley's reasons not for starting him. If you start them both and they pick up some cheap one's early where does he go next???

I think there will be alot of times you see Eli and Rice on the court at the same time, I think Rice will play starter minutes most of the season, but I also agree with the concious decision Henley has made not to start them both.

I fully agree that he is a better player than Slusher and Avery as well
