Wanted to let everyone know that with the recent hire of Kevin Regile at Pikeville College he is working with several people to open a indoor soccer facility in the near future here in Pikeville. With that there is a possibilty of bring in a semi-professional team to the area which would be huge for local kids, college recruiting and the growth of soccer in this area. In addition there looks to be a possibilty of actually bringing in a solid club soccer program to the area as well. Kevin has recently coached for the New York Red Bulls development academy and two JUCO colleges as an assistant. He currently holds his D license issued by the NSCAA, and is going for his Goalkeeping advanced license here in December. Also in addition to his hire the college has not started a JV program at Pikeville College which will allow a development process for local players that wish to play collegiate soccer. This is a huge stepping stone for soccer in this area, so what I am asking of everyone is lets give him our best wishes in developing this area, if you know of people that would like to donate time, thoughts and even possibly money to develope a club soccer program and the indoor facilty let me know and I will pass on the information to Kevin.
