I've always have and will continue to support our military and their efforts, but I have to ask you do you tell young recruits that they can't do whatever they set their mind to and just give up. First of all, I never laughed at anyone. Secondly, I never said Blume or any other player mentioned on this site couldn't do whatever it was he or she set his or her mind to do. The fact is right now Blume is not big enough to play running back at a D1 school. That is what I was talking about not that he couldn't ever play that position. And, right now the only playing time he would probably ever see at a D1 school would be on special teams (KO/Punt Return). That is what I said. If he puts on about 40 or 50 pounds (that is if he actually weighs 160 now) he might get to see playing time at running back at a D1 school. However, Blume himself (as he stated earlier in this thread) has probably chosen the best course of action for himself and that was to attend a D2 school, get some experience at the next level, gain some weight and then try to transfer to a D1 school. Lastly, do not ever question my integrity or commitment to my country and my troops as I am almost certain that between the two of us, only one has actually served in its military for the last 17+ years.
