Stardust Wrote:NKY.Com Preview just came out. Interesting that they mention Nate Losey, Joe Franzen and Michael Kremer as key players. ALL HAVE QUIT THE TEAM! Coach Code has lost all touch with these kids.

Scott Code returns for his third year as Campbell County HIgh School head boys' basketball coach with a 34-22 record.

The Camels return two starters in Brady Jolly and Jordan Smith.

Jolly, a 6-foot-4 senior forward, averaged 10 points and three rebounds a game last season.

Smith, a 5-11 senior guard, averaged six points a game and returns at point guard.

Junior guard Nate Losey adds athleticism to the lineup. Junior guard Corey Cox is a very good shooter and ballhandler. Junior center Joe Franzen adds size and rebounding. Junior guard Michael Kremer is one of the top shooters on the team, and freshman guard Nate McGovney is also expected to add a lot to the backcourt.

Code said shooting, depth and ballhandling are the team's strengths, with experience and rebounding team weaknesses.

"If we can find a way to force turnovers or hang with bigger teams rebounding wise, it could make for fun year," Code said. "We are looking to be able to use our speed and pressure the ball better than we could last year."

The Camels began the season Dec. 1 against Pendleton County and host 37th District foe Calvary Dec. 5. Campbell's conference opener is at Dixie Heights Dec. 8.
