Actually, most of the time on jump shots, particularly 3 pointers, you don't jump high. Sometimes, jumping high throws off your balance on your shot.

I'm guessing your talking from personal exp. of throwing your shot off. I'm not talking about getting up 35 inches off the ground on a jumpshot, a few inches goes along way is all I'm saying.

Being 6'3, Cotrill's going to have to find something to get his shot off quicker and better.
